Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), one of the largest IT and System Integrators in the United States has teamed with Nortel Government Systems to provide engineering, installation and operational support for some of the largest VoIP deployments in the nation. GDIT is currently seeking skilled VoIP and system engineers in Baltimore,MD for a large scale VoIP deployment that have current operational experience in a Nortel environment.
GDIT is looking for Nortel Contact Center (Symposium) Programmer
Responsible for developing, implementing, and testing the configuration and programming of Nortel Contact Center systems, including CCMA, CCMS, NCC, and CCT servers or equivalent. Perform scripting development, configuration and administration, as well as maintenance functions. Perform configuration and programming for Nortel Contact Center networking and CTI applications. Perform configuration and programming for Nortel Contact Center management and administration. Provide remote support of system cutovers, first day of business coverage, and help desk change requests.


Required Education Minimum of three years to five years of Nortel Contact Center, Symposium, or equivalent configuration, implementation, and application development experience. Working knowledge of Nortel Contact Center, Symposium, or equivalent application development and management tools. Basic understanding of voice and data technologies as used in the enterprise network , good communication skills (i.e. writing, verbal and technical documentation skills including providing on-the-job knowledge transfer), basic project management skills.

Required Work Experience Extensive knowledge of configuration options and parameters on Nortel Contact Center Manager Server, Symposium Call Center Server and a good understanding of CS 1000 based voice and VoIP solutions
