Job Description: Senior Financial Analyst partnering with program leadership team in leading a major NCS program providing financial support and analysis. Responsibilities include: development of Program Management Budgets and Estimates At Complete, proposal development, fact-finding and negotiation support, support of internal and external audits, development of the Annual Operation Plan and five year Strategic Plan, monthly forecasting and reporting of financials including variance analysis, development of monthly program and financial review data, EVMS analysis and reporting. Occasional travel required.
Required Skills:
- At least 4 years of professional finance experience
- Demonstrated self-starter with good organizational skills who can work both independently and in an integrated, multi-disciplined team environment
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and provide insights that drive business decisions and results
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in written form.
- Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
- Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards
- Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and ongoing multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools (SAP Business systems and reporting, Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) software and PC Pricing software)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with aerospace or defense industries desired, but not required
- Strong Earned Value Management skills (EVMS, MPM, wInsight)
- SAP and Business Warehouse, PC Pricing and SBT
Required Education (including degree):
- Bachelors degree in Business with a major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
